Job Title: Cook

Company: Healthcare Services Group

Location: Southfield, MI

Pay: $17.85 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: As of 2023, an hourly rate of $17.85 for a Cook position in Southfield, MI, is somewhat competitive but may be on the lower end compared to industry standards, especially in urban areas or establishments requiring specialized skills. According to various salary surveys and job market analyses, cooks in Michigan typically earn between $15 to $20 per hour, depending on factors like experience, the type of establishment, and specific culinary skills. Additionally, higher-end restaurants or those requiring advanced culinary techniques may offer rates above $20 per hour. Therefore, while $17.85 is within the expected range, it may not attract experienced candidates in a competitive job market, especially as wage growth continues to be a focus in the culinary field.

Job description:

Compensation Range: Pay rate $17.85 per hour.
