Job Title: Cook

Company: Healthcare Services Group

Location: Holland, MI

Pay: $17 – 18 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $17 – $18 for a Cook position in Holland, MI, is somewhat competitive, though it may be on the lower end of the spectrum. According to national averages, cooks typically earn between $15 and $22 per hour, depending on experience, skill level, and specific employer factors. In Michigan, the average hourly wage for cooks tends to align closely with this range, though wages can vary significantly within regions and establishments. Given that Holland is a smaller city with a lower cost of living than major metropolitan areas, the offered rate is reasonable but may not fully attract seasoned cooks or those looking for positions with career advancement opportunities. Overall, while it’s competitive, it may be beneficial for employers to assess their compensation packages to retain talent effectively.
