Metz Culinary Management is expanding, and we have openings for exceptional cooks who share our enthusiasm for food and service. We are looking for team members for both full-time and part-time positions in a dynamic commercial kitchen and café setting. While experience in a food service environment such as hospitals, schools, or colleges is preferred, we welcome motivated individuals who possess fundamental skills and can contribute positively to our team.
Line and Prep Cooks: Responsible for preparing and presenting exquisite meals and visually appealing dishes in accordance with our Executive Chef’s menus. Candidates should be capable of managing inventory and portioning ingredients, as well as assisting in various kitchen operations including food preparation, dishwashing, inventory maintenance, and ensuring sanitation standards are met. Experience as a cook or relevant culinary education is advantageous, but we are prepared to train passionate individuals eager to learn. This role offers significant potential for growth!
Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience in a food service capacity is preferred.
- Competency in applying basic mathematical concepts related to inventory management and portioning.
- A willingness to pitch in and assist wherever necessary.
- A strong hospitality-driven approach.
