Whispering Pines Senior Living Facility in Cadillac is seeking a flexible cook who is also willing to take on server responsibilities. This is a part-time position with no late-night shifts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with meal preparation, serving, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Greet residents and guests with warmth, fostering a welcoming and friendly environment.
- Plan menus and prepare meals for residents utilizing standardized recipes.
- Experience in cooking large quantities (20+ meals) is required; ServSafe certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Plate and serve meals promptly and efficiently, ensuring food presentation is appealing and appetizing.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and clearing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and restocking supplies as needed.
- Deliver room service trays and assist in transporting residents to and from the dining room.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health department regulations and facility policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
