AI Pay Analysis: To analyze the hourly rate for a “Cook/Server” in Lake City, MI, it’s important to consider both local and national trends. As of my last update, the average hourly wage for cooks and servers in Michigan generally ranges between $12 to $18, depending on experience and establishment type. In smaller towns like Lake City, rates can be slightly lower due to differences in cost of living and local economic conditions. If the offered hourly rate falls within or slightly below this range, it can be considered competitive but may struggle to attract top talent if it significantly undercuts the average. Additionally, factors such as benefits, tips, and work environment play a crucial role in overall compensation competitiveness. A precise assessment would require the specific offered rate for a more tailored analysis.
