Job Description
Job Title: Cook
Company: Sunrise Senior Living
Location: West Bloomfield, MI
Pay: $20.6 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: As of my last update in October 2023, an hourly rate of $20.60 for a Cook in West Bloomfield, MI, appears to be competitive, although it varies based on factors such as experience, type of establishment (e.g., restaurants, catering, institutional food services), and specific skill sets (e.g., culinary training, specialty cuisine expertise). Nationally, the average hourly wage for cooks typically ranges from $15 to $25, with higher wages found in urban areas and upscale dining environments. In West Bloomfield, considering its proximity to metropolitan Detroit, this rate aligns well with local cost of living and labor market conditions, making it a reasonable offering for attracting skilled labor in the culinary field.
