Job Title: Cook

Company: Sunrise Senior Living

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Pay: $20.6 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: As of my last data update in October 2023, an hourly rate of $20.60 for a Cook in Grand Rapids, MI, appears to be competitive and somewhat above average for this role in the region. Typically, cooks in entry-level positions earn between $15 to $18 per hour, while more experienced cooks or those in specialized roles can earn upwards of $20-$25 per hour, depending on the establishment and its location. Therefore, this rate suggests that the position may require certain skills or experience, or it may be offered by a higher-end establishment. Overall, $20.60 aligns favorably with industry standards, particularly in the context of ongoing increases in wage expectations and cost of living adjustments in many urban areas.
