Delaware North Parks and Resorts is seeking a full-time or part-time Cook to join our team at The Lodge at Geneva in Geneva, Ohio. In this role, you will be integral to food preparation for guest orders and will effectively communicate with serving team members. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with portion sizes, quality standards, departmental rules, policies, and procedures while ensuring proper food temperatures are maintained. Ensure all menu items are fresh and of high quality.
• Maintain workstation, coolers, and equipment in a clean, organized, sanitized, and adequately stocked manner.
• Follow waste control guidelines and accurately record all waste on the spoilage sheet.
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties, along with end-of-day inventory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a back-of-the-house food service position.
• Ability to read and comprehend preparation sheets and recipes.
• Basic math skills for calculating and following recipe measurements.
• A high school diploma or GED is not required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more, reach up to seven feet, bend, and squat.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift in a moderate to high noise environment.
• Proficiency in chopping, mixing, blending, whipping various foods and liquids, and operating kitchen equipment.
• Exposure to varying temperatures and a damp environment.
