AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15.67 to $19.58 for the role of “Cook” in Grand Rapids, MI, appears to be in line with, and slightly competitive against, industry standards for similar positions in the region. As of 2023, average hourly wages for cooks in Michigan typically range from around $14 to $18, with higher-end rates often reflecting roles requiring more experience or specialization. Given this context, the specified range indicates that employers may be offering a competitive wage to attract talent, particularly if the role includes opportunities for advancement or additional responsibilities. However, factors such as cost of living adjustments and local demand for culinary staff could further influence whether these rates are appealing to job seekers in the area.
