Responsibilities

  • Prepare a variety of soups, stocks, sauces, and execute boiling, braising, and roasting tasks according to standardized recipes.
  • Prepare and serve sautéed, fried, grilled, steamed, and baked items while adhering to established recipes.
  • Oversee the preparation of all food served, ensuring compliance with standard recipes and special dietary requirements.
  • Plan food production timelines to align with meal service hours, ensuring the quality, temperature, and presentation of dishes remain exceptional.
  • Assess the quantity and type of food and supplies required for daily menus, ensuring timely retrieval of these items from storage areas to support meal production.
  • Maintain reliability and punctuality in accordance with our Attendance Policy.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in understanding and following instructions in English, communicating effectively, and performing basic arithmetic.
  • Skilled in understanding measurements and conversions.
  • A minimum of three years of experience as a Cook in a hotel, restaurant, club, or similar establishment.
  • Ability to plan and organize work, interpret instructions, recipes, specifications, and standards effectively.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and its proper usage.
