Job Summary
The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, quantity, and timely preparation of daily meal production. This individual will prepare meals according to Parkhurst’s established recipes, standards, and procedures while adhering to rigorous sanitary protocols.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare food in accordance with Parkhurst’s recipes while implementing the "batch" cooking method.
  • Maintain the quality and quantity of food throughout the service period by utilizing production sheets.
  • Ensure proper line presentation, including the use of appropriate pans, garnishes, utensils, and serving temperatures as required by recipes or management directives.
  • Establish effective communication with fellow associates, including line servers, to relay pertinent information regarding daily food items.
  • Complete daily production sheets with accuracy.
  • Ensure that all food items are correctly stored and labeled with dates.
  • Adhere to all HACCP guidelines when utilizing leftovers.
  • Follow the cleaning schedule provided by management, employing "clean as you go" practices.
  • Maintain open communication with management regarding product and supply needs.
  • Adhere to the uniform dress code and uphold high standards of personal hygiene.
  • Follow all Parkhurst Gold Standards and implement Smile Plus hospitality imperatives.
  • Offer assistance to team members whenever possible.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
