Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, quantity, and timeliness of meal production for the day. You will prepare food according to Parkhurst recipes and standards, adhering to strict sanitary conditions.
Essential Functions
- Prepare food in accordance with Parkhurst recipes and enforce the "batch" cooking method.
- Ensure the quality and quantity of food throughout the service period by utilizing production sheets.
- Maintain proper line presentation, ensuring the correct pans and utensils are used, garnishing is applied, and food products are kept at the specified serving temperatures.
- Maintain effective communication with fellow associates, including line servers, regarding specific food items on a daily basis.
- Complete daily production sheets and ensure all food items are stored properly and dated.
- Follow all HACCP guidelines regarding leftovers.
- Adhere to the cleaning schedule provided by management, employing “clean as you go” techniques.
- Maintain open communication with management regarding necessary products and supplies.
- Follow the uniform dress code and uphold personal hygiene standards.
- Adhere to all Parkhurst Gold Standards and practice Smile Plus hospitality imperatives.
- Assist team members whenever possible.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
