AI Pay Analysis: To analyze the hourly rate for a Cosmetic Merchandiser in Lansing, MI, one would need to consider various factors such as local cost of living and the average pay for similar roles in the area. As of my last data update in October 2023, the hourly rate for cosmetic merchandisers can vary but generally ranges from $12 to $20, depending on experience and the specific employer. Given that Lansing’s cost of living is relatively moderate compared to larger cities, an hourly rate within this range would be considered competitive. It’s essential to compare the offered rate against industry standards and local average rates, as well as benefits and working conditions, to determine overall competitiveness. Based on these factors, if the rate falls within or exceeds average local offerings, it would likely be seen as competitive in the industry.
