Job Title: Cosmetologist

Company: Legato Salon & Spa

Location: Birmingham, MI

Pay: $37000 – 41000 per year

AI Pay Analysis: The annual salary range of $37,000 to $41,000 for a cosmetologist in Birmingham, MI translates to an hourly wage of approximately $17.79 to $19.71, assuming a standard 40-hour workweek. This compensation is somewhat below the national average for cosmetologists, which typically ranges from $30,000 to $50,000 annually, depending on experience and location. While Birmingham is known for its affluence, which often impacts service pricing, the offered salary may not fully align with the higher cost of living in the area or the potential earnings from tips and commissions that experienced cosmetologists can obtain. Therefore, while the salary is somewhat competitive, it may be on the lower side for seasoned professionals in this field, particularly in an upscale market like Birmingham.
