Job Description

The Custodial Services Lead Worker is responsible for the thorough cleaning and maintenance of assigned areas to ensure optimal customer and client satisfaction. This role includes oversight and delegation of tasks within the cleaning services operation. Responsibilities may vary by Aramark location, reflecting specific client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Schedule and assign daily work assignments to a custodial team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Adhere to established safety procedures to maintain a secure working environment in compliance with OSHA, state, local, federal, and Aramark regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly environment to promote the safety and health of all individuals.
  • Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of housekeeping equipment.
  • Perform cleaning duties in accordance with Aramark’s standards and client specifications.
  • Follow procedures for the storage and disposal of waste, transporting it to designated areas.
  • Report maintenance issues via work order requests to the appropriate personnel.
  • Secure the facility by ensuring that the building is locked or unlocked as required.
  • Safeguard company assets and maintain security protocols.

Qualifications

  • Prior custodial experience is required.
  • Experience in a supervisory or related role is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Maintain a friendly, efficient, and positive demeanor in service to guests, clients, and co-workers.
  • Adaptable to the needs of guests.
