Job description:

The Cleaner is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of an assigned area.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Previous experience is not required, as on-the-job training will be provided.
  • A high school diploma, GED, or college degree is not necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service is beneficial.
  • At least one year of relevant work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness in buildings and facilities.
  • Adhere to established procedures for the safe use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and fixtures from damage.
  • Inform the Manager of any minor or major repair needs within building systems.
  • Foster effective communication and positive working relationships with clients, coworkers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
  • Comply with all safety, security, quality, and regulatory standards established by the Company and its clients.
  • Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment.
  • Move furniture, boxes, and equipment to facilitate cleaning, using hand trucks or manually as needed.
  • Clean interior glass, windows, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools.
  • Wash and replace blinds as required.
  • Collect and dispose of trash.
  • Perform seasonal landscaping tasks such as sweeping walkways, raking leaves, mowing grass, and removing snow.
  • Wipe and sanitize tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food service areas.
  • Service, clean, and restock supplies in restrooms.
