Job description:

The Cleaner is responsible for the thorough cleaning and maintenance of an assigned area.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
  • No prior experience is required, and comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
  • A high school diploma, GED, or college degree is not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service is advantageous.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain designated buildings and facilities.
  • Adhere to procedures for the utilization of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
  • Notify the Manager of any minor or major repair needs or enhancements to building operating systems.
  • Foster effective communication and collaborative relationships with clients, team members, shift coordinators, supervisors, and management.
  • Comply with all established safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures set forth by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
  • Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machinery, and equipment.
  • Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, and equipment to facilitate thorough cleaning, either manually or using hand trucks.
  • Clean interior glass partitions, windows, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools.
  • Wash and replace blinds as needed.
  • Collect and dispose of trash.
  • Perform seasonal duties such as sweeping walkways, raking leaves, mowing grass, and clearing snow.
  • Wipe down tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food service areas.
  • Service, clean, and replenish supplies in restrooms.
