AI Pay Analysis: To accurately assess whether the hourly rate for a Custodian in Ann Arbor, MI is competitive and aligned with industry standards, it is essential to consider the typical pay range for custodial roles in similar metropolitan areas. As of recent data, custodians in Michigan typically earn between $12 to $20 per hour, depending on experience, specific job responsibilities, and the employer. Given that Ann Arbor is a university town with a higher cost of living, rates may trend towards the upper end of this range. If the hourly rate in question falls within or above this range, it would be considered competitive; otherwise, it may not align with industry standards, especially when factoring in the local economy and demand for custodial services.
