Job Title: Custodian Romulus, Michigan

Company: SBM Management

Location: Romulus, MI

Pay: $15.1 – 16.1 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15.10 to $16.10 for a custodian position in Romulus, Michigan, appears to be on the lower end of the spectrum compared to national averages and local competition. As of 2023, custodial roles typically pay between $15 to $20 per hour depending on experience and specific job responsibilities, with some areas and employers offering even higher rates to attract talent. Given the cost of living in Michigan, while this pay rate may be somewhat competitive for entry-level positions, it may not be attractive enough to retain experienced custodians or to draw applicants in a competitive job market, especially in urban areas. Overall, it suggests a need for adjustment to align more closely with industry standards in the region.
