In this pivotal role, you will:
- Serve as the primary contact for MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) customer accounts, addressing third-level escalations effectively.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion within the used material segment, leveraging your industry insights and networks.
- Apply your in-depth knowledge of P&WC aftermarket parts and configuration management to provide essential technical oversight and support the organization.
- Utilize technical manuals and publications to creatively address daily business challenges.
- Research, negotiate, and procure parts that are in short supply.
- Analyze long-range engine shop forecasts to break down engine events into specific part numbers, determining necessary components and identifying repairable inventory.
- Collaborate with MRO shops and the inventory and planning teams to adjust inventory strategies and repair management processes in line with overall parts requirements.
- Lead initiatives focused on excess and obsolete inventory in partnership with the Inventory & Planning team to optimize lean inventory practices.
- Compile and analyze data related to the used parts business segment to generate accurate forecasts for used part sales and engine clearance timelines.
- Work alongside the Business Segment Manager and P&WC MRO accounts to ensure the execution of aligned metrics for engine clearance.
- Develop and support contract pricing in partnership with contract management for both new and existing agreements.
- Create and present comprehensive business cases to senior leadership, both internally and externally.
- Make independent, strategic business decisions aimed at achieving targeted financial outcomes.
- Address material shortage issues and supply chain delays to ensure timely delivery and meet performance indicators.
- Formulate strategic sales plans that enhance product offerings, maximizing inventory turnover and revenue generation.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field, coupled with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree in the same field with at least 3 years of experience.
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory due to the sensitivity of the program/contract.
This position is onsite, involving employees who primarily work at our Muskegon location, which is vital to the development of our engines.
The salary range for this role is between $66,000 and $130,000, reflecting a good faith estimate based on varying levels of experience. RTX considers numerous factors in its compensation offers, including the specific role, function, responsibilities, prior work experience, location, education, and key skills.
