Job description:
FMX is seeking a motivated and customer-centric Customer Marketing Specialist to join our expanding marketing team. In this pivotal role, you will contribute significantly to enhancing customer experiences, driving product adoption, and maximizing upsell opportunities through targeted customer marketing and enablement initiatives. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential in designing focused campaigns, developing engaging enablement resources, and ensuring customers fully appreciate the value of FMX’s solutions. This position reports directly to the Manager of Campaign Marketing and works in close partnership with the Senior Product Marketing Manager to align and execute customer-centric strategies.
As the Customer Marketing Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and Executing Customer Campaigns: Collaborate to formulate and implement customer marketing campaigns aimed at driving upsell opportunities, product adoption, and overall engagement.
- Enablement Resource Development: Partner with the product and customer success teams to create and disseminate enablement materials—such as playbooks, FAQs, video tutorials, case studies, and training guides—to empower customers and enhance product usage.
- Customer-Focused Content Creation: Produce compelling customer-facing content, including emails, newsletters, and event promotions, while ensuring alignment with product updates, features, and best practices.
- Webinars and Events: Assist in planning and executing customer-focused webinars and events designed to highlight product value, address customer needs, and showcase success stories.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between marketing, customer success, and product teams to maintain unified messaging, share insights, and create cohesive communication strategies.
- Data-Driven Insights: Analyze campaign performance, monitor customer engagement metrics, and utilize data insights to refine strategies, assess effectiveness, and optimize future initiatives.
- Customer Advocacy: Aid in the development of customer advocacy programs by identifying and engaging potential advocates, collaborating on testimonials, and sharing customer success stories.
Preferred Experience & Qualities:
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in customer marketing, customer success, or a similar role, showcasing a strong focus on creating effective marketing campaigns and enablement resources for customers.
- A proven track record of developing customer-centric enablement materials and training resources that foster product adoption and satisfaction.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities, enabling the handling of multiple campaigns and initiatives concurrently.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, such as Marketo, is advantageous.
- An understanding of customer success practices, including strategies for product adoption and retention.
- The ability to track, analyze, and report on customer engagement data to drive insights and enhance performance.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across cross-functional teams while maintaining a customer-first approach.
- Familiarity with SaaS products is a plus.
