Job description:

Qualfon is seeking Deposit Services Specialists to handle inbound communications from our clients’ members regarding their banking needs. This role is primarily focused on delivering exceptional support to existing members. The ideal candidate will possess strong professional communication skills, robust computer literacy, and a commitment to achieving first-call resolution for customers.

Compensation and Location:
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $20 and is based onsite at our Headquarters in Highland Park, MI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound communications via phone, email, chat, and social media from our clients’ members about credit card needs.
  • Handle inquiries related to active credit card accounts, assist with monetary and non-monetary transactions, resolve cases of fraudulent activity, and provide information on various account types including checking and savings accounts, as well as consumer loan applications.
  • Thoroughly assess customer needs, often requiring clarifying questions to gather further information.
  • Leverage available resources and systems to conduct research and deliver appropriate resolutions to customers.
  • Maintain adherence to performance metrics and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience required; call center experience is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in banking or financial services is strongly preferred.
  • A High School diploma or GED is required; a college degree is preferred.
  • Availability to work onsite in Highland Park and comply with attendance requirements.
  • Ability to adhere to a structured schedule, including start times, breaks, and end times.
