Job description:

As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in establishing connections and providing a diverse range of products and services to our varied customer base. Our clients rely on us for prompt and dependable financial solutions as they navigate their busy lives. Your exceptional cash handling skills, meticulous attention to detail, and professional engagement with both customers and colleagues in a dynamic environment will not only represent our core mission but also facilitate your professional development.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing meaningful relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Accurately reviewing, validating, and processing customer transactions, including check cashing, money transfers, and payments.
  • Proactively enhancing customer success by tailoring financial services to meet their individual needs.
  • Precisely entering and maintaining customer information in our Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
  • Driving new business by executing inbound and outbound call campaigns on a daily basis.
  • Supporting customer account management and collections through payment processing and appointment coordination.
  • Upholding the appearance and cleanliness of both internal and external store areas to enrich the customer experience.
  • Ensuring office security through proper opening and closing procedures, including managing the vault and cash drawer.
  • Adhering to Company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Engaging in continuous training to stay informed about our evolving products and processes.
  • Efficiently navigating multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet individual and team performance objectives.
  • Committing to a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance, including weekends, with a minimum expectation of 40 hours per week.

Qualifications for this role include:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A professional demeanor when interacting with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to enter data accurately.
  • Proficiency in phone communications, Point of Sale systems, Microsoft Office, and other relevant computer applications.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Background check required (subject to applicable law).
  • Capability to meet the physical demands of the role, including the ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, move throughout the store, and operate mechanical controls such as a keyboard.

Preferred qualifications and skills include:

  • Experience in check cashing, document verification, or money order processing.
  • Previous cash handling and cash drawer/vault management experience.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus and may be required for certain locations.
