Job description:
This full-time position requires availability to work one weekend day, with a shift from 6 AM to 2 PM.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
– Provide exceptional customer service by warmly welcoming members, prospective members, and guests.
– Manage front desk operations, which include:
– Answering phones promptly and assisting callers with various inquiries.
– Verifying member identification and scanning member barcodes into the system.
– Facilitating new member sign-ups.
– Conducting tours of the facility for prospective members.
– Assisting with necessary updates to member accounts.
– Addressing member questions and concerns with professionalism and urgency, referring to the Assistant Club Manager when necessary.
– Contributing to the upkeep and cleanliness of the club.
– Monitoring safety and sanitation standards throughout the facility.
– Ensuring restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, and gym floors are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
– Stocking locker rooms with appropriate supplies and paper products.
– Reporting any damaged or missing amenities or equipment (e.g., toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym machines) to the Club Manager.
– Adhering to the “Lost and Found Policy” by promptly submitting any lost member property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager.

Qualifications/Requirements:
– Prior experience in customer service is preferred.
– Basic proficiency in computer skills.
– A strong passion for fitness and health.
– A consistently positive and upbeat attitude.
– Punctuality and reliability are essential.
– Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to engage positively and professionally with both members and colleagues, aiming to exceed expectations.
