Job description:

This full-time position requires working one weekend day, with shifts scheduled from 4 AM to 12 PM, 6 AM to 2 PM, and/or 7 AM to 3 PM.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming members, prospective members, and guests.
  • Perform a variety of front desk-related activities, including:
    • Answering phones in a friendly manner and assisting callers with a range of inquiries.
    • Checking IDs and member barcodes into the system.
    • Managing new member sign-ups.
    • Conducting tours of the club for prospective members.
    • Facilitating necessary updates to member accounts.
    • Addressing member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Club Manager as needed.
    • Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the club.
    • Monitoring for the safety of individuals and the cleanliness of the facility.
    • Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment, and the gym floor.
    • Ensuring locker rooms are stocked with the appropriate supplies and paper products.
    • Reporting any broken or missing amenities or equipment (such as toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, and gym equipment) to the Club Manager.
    • Adhering to the "Lost and Found Policy" and promptly submitting lost member property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • A background in customer service is preferred.
