Job description:
This is a full-time position that requires working one weekend day, with shifts scheduled from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
– Provide exceptional customer service by warmly greeting members, prospective members, and guests.
– Perform various front desk activities, including but not limited to:
– Answering phone calls in a courteous manner and assisting callers with a wide range of inquiries.
– Checking in members by verifying IDs and scanning member barcodes into the system.
– Facilitating new member sign-ups and providing prospective members with guided tours of the club.
– Updating member accounts as necessary and responding to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Club Manager as required.
– Assisting in maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the club.
– Monitoring safety and cleanliness standards within the facility.
– Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment, and gym floors.
– Ensuring locker rooms are properly stocked with necessary supplies and paper products.
– Reporting any broken or missing amenities or equipment, such as toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, and gym equipment, to the Club Manager.
– Adhering to the “Lost and Found Policy” by promptly submitting lost member property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager.

Qualifications/Requirements:
– Previous customer service experience is preferred.
– Basic computer proficiency is essential.
– A strong passion for fitness and health.
– A consistently upbeat and positive attitude.
– Punctuality and reliability are critical.
– Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to engage positively and professionally with members and colleagues, exceeding members’ expectations.
– Strong listening skills combined with the ability to empathize and resolve problems effectively.

– A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.

Physical Demands:
