Job description:
This full-time position requires work on one weekend day, with shifts scheduled from 6 AM to 2 PM.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
– Provide exceptional customer service by warmly greeting members, prospective members, and guests.
– Manage a range of front desk activities, which include:
– Answering phone calls in a friendly manner and assisting callers with various inquiries.
– Checking ID and member barcodes into the system.
– Facilitating new member sign-ups.
– Conducting tours for prospective members.
– Making necessary updates to member accounts.
– Addressing member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Club Manager as needed.
– Assisting in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
– Monitoring for safety and cleanliness throughout the facility.
– Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment, and gym floors.
– Restocking locker rooms with proper supplies and paper products.
– Reporting any broken or missing amenities or equipment (e.g., toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment) to the Club Manager.
– Adhering to the “Lost and Found Policy” by promptly turning in lost member property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager.

Qualifications/Requirements:
– A background in customer service is preferred.
– Basic computer proficiency is required.
– A passion for fitness and health is essential.
– An upbeat and positive attitude is expected at all times.
– Punctuality and reliability are critical.
– Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and colleagues, consistently exceeding expectations.
