Job description:

This position is full-time and requires availability to work one weekend day. Shift hours may include 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and/or 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting members, prospective members, and guests warmly.
  • Manage all front desk activities, which include but are not limited to:
    • Answering phone calls in a friendly and helpful manner, addressing a variety of inquiries.
    • Verifying member identification and barcodes within the system.
    • Assisting with new member sign-ups.
    • Conducting tours of the club for prospective members.
    • Facilitating necessary updates to members’ accounts.
    • Responding to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Club Manager as necessary.
    • Contributing to the overall neatness and cleanliness of the club.
    • Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of the premises.
    • Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment, and gym floors.
    • Restocking locker rooms with appropriate supplies and paper products.
    • Reporting any broken or missing amenities or equipment (such as toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, and gym equipment) to the Club Manager.
    • Adhering to the “Lost and Found Policy” and promptly turning in lost property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager.
