Job description:
This full-time position requires working one weekend day, with shifts scheduled from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and/or 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
– Welcome members, prospective members, and guests by delivering exceptional customer service.
– Manage all front desk activities, including but not limited to:
– Answering phone calls in a friendly and helpful manner to assist callers with various inquiries.
– Checking member IDs and barcodes into the system.
– Facilitating new member sign-ups.
– Conducting tours of the club for prospective members.
– Updating member accounts as necessary.
– Addressing member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Club Manager when appropriate.
– Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the club.
– Monitoring safety and hygiene throughout the facility.
– Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, and gym floors.
– Stocking locker rooms with necessary supplies and paper products.
– Reporting any broken or missing amenities or equipment (including toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment, etc.) to the Club Manager.
– Adhering to the “Lost and Found Policy” and promptly submitting lost member property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager.
Qualifications and Requirements:
– Prior experience in customer service is preferred.
– Basic computer proficiency is required.
– A passion for fitness and health is essential.
– A consistently upbeat and positive attitude.
– Punctuality and reliability are crucial.
– Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to engage positively and professionally with members and colleagues, surpassing their expectations.

Physical Demands:

– Regular cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and commonly used surfaces.
– Monitoring the club and providing assistance to members throughout the entirety of the shift.
