Job description:
This full-time position requires working one weekend day each week. Shifts may vary between 12 PM to 8 PM, 2 PM to 10 PM, and/or 3 PM to 11 PM.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by warmly greeting members, prospective members, and guests.
- Perform all front desk-related activities, including but not limited to:
- Answering phone calls in a friendly manner and assisting callers with a diverse range of inquiries.
- Checking ID and member barcodes into the system.
- Facilitating new member sign-ups.
- Conducting tours of the club for prospective members.
- Updating members’ accounts as necessary.
- Addressing member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Club Manager when needed.
- Assisting in maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the club.
- Monitoring safety and ensuring cleanliness within the facility.
- Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, and gym floors.
- Restocking locker rooms with necessary supplies and paper products.
- Reporting any broken or missing amenities or equipment (e.g., toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment) to the Club Manager.
- Adhering to the "Lost and Found Policy" by promptly turning in lost member property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Prior customer service experience is preferred.
- Basic proficiency in computer skills is necessary.

- Responsibilities include diluting and cleaning with chemicals during the shift.
- Requirement to clean and sanitize equipment and frequently touched surfaces within the club.
- Continuous monitoring of the club and assisting members throughout the entire shift.
