Job description:
This position is a full-time role that requires availability to work one weekend day per week. Shifts may vary and include 12 PM to 8 PM, 2 PM to 10 PM, and/or 3 PM to 11 PM.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting members, prospective members, and guests.
- Manage all front desk operations, including but not limited to:
- Answering phones in a friendly manner and assisting callers with various inquiries.
- Checking IDs and member barcodes into the system.
- Facilitating new member sign-ups.
- Conducting tours of the club for prospective members.
- Assisting with necessary updates to members’ accounts.
- Responding promptly and professionally to member questions and concerns, escalating issues to the Assistant Club Manager as necessary.
- Assisting in maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the club.
- Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of club facilities.
- Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment, and gym flooring.
- Restocking locker rooms with appropriate supplies and paper products.
- Reporting any broken or missing amenities or equipment (such as toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, and gym equipment) to the Club Manager.
- Adhering to the "Lost and Found Policy" by promptly turning in lost member property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
