Job description:

This full-time position requires working one weekend day, with shifts available from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and/or 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by warmly greeting members, prospective members, and guests.
  • Manage all front desk activities, which include but are not limited to:
    • Answering phone calls in a friendly manner and assisting callers with various inquiries.
    • Checking identification and member barcodes into the system.
    • Facilitating new member sign-ups.
    • Conducting tours of the club for prospective members.
    • Updating members’ accounts as necessary.
    • Responding to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Club Manager as needed.
    • Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the club.
    • Monitoring the safety of individuals and the cleanliness of the facility.
    • Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, and gym floors.
    • Stocking locker rooms with necessary supplies and paper products.
    • Reporting any broken or missing amenities or equipment (such as toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, and gym equipment) to the Club Manager.
    • Adhering to the “Lost and Found Policy” and promptly turning in lost member property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Capacity to dilute and clean using chemicals during shifts.
  • Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and commonly used surfaces in the club.
  • Vigilant monitoring of the club while providing assistance to members throughout the duration of the shift.
