Job description:

This is a full-time position that requires availability to work one weekend day. Shifts are scheduled from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and/or 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming members, prospective members, and guests.
  • Carry out all front desk activities, including but not limited to:
    • Answering phone calls in a friendly manner and assisting callers with various inquiries.
    • Verifying identification and member barcodes in the system.
    • Facilitating new member sign-ups.
    • Conducting tours for prospective members of the club.
    • Updating member account information as needed.
    • Addressing member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Club Manager when necessary.
    • Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and overall organization of the club.
    • Monitoring safety and cleanliness throughout the facility.
    • Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, and gym floors.
    • Restocking locker rooms with necessary supplies and paper products.
    • Reporting any broken or missing amenities or equipment (e.g., toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment) to the Club Manager.
    • Adhering to the “Lost and Found Policy” by turning in lost member property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager promptly.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency is necessary.
