Job description:
This is a full-time position that requires working one weekend day, with shifts available from 12 PM to 8 PM, 2 PM to 10 PM, and/or 3 PM to 11 PM.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcome members, prospective members, and guests by delivering exceptional customer service.
- Perform all front desk activities, including but not limited to:
- Answering phone calls in a courteous manner and assisting callers with a variety of inquiries.
- Verifying member IDs and barcodes within the system.
- Facilitating new member sign-ups.
- Conducting tours of the club for prospective members.
- Managing updates to member accounts as needed.
- Addressing member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues to the Assistant Club Manager when appropriate.
- Assisting in maintaining the overall neatness and cleanliness of the club.
- Monitoring safety and cleanliness throughout the facility.
- Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment, and the gym floor.
- Stocking locker rooms with necessary supplies and paper products.
- Reporting any broken or missing amenities or equipment (toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment, etc.) to the Club Manager.
- Following the “Lost and Found Policy” and promptly turning in any lost member property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager.
Qualifications/Requirements
- A background in customer service is preferred.

Physical Demands
- Continuous standing and walking throughout the shift.

- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Handling and using cleaning chemicals during the shift.
- Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and commonly used surfaces within the club.
- Monitoring the facility and assisting members throughout the entirety of the shift.
