  • The ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and adaptation to emerging data technologies and best practices.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data models to support business intelligence (BI) and analytics needs, with an emphasis on performance and scalability.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines that transform raw data into clean, usable datasets.
  • Perform data transformations utilizing SQL and scripting languages such as Python.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data availability and integrity.
  • Validate data outputs for accuracy and consistency through thorough testing.
  • Implement data quality checks and maintain comprehensive data documentation.
  • Work with stakeholders to define metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and reporting requirements.
  • Facilitate the migration of on-premises solutions to cloud environments.
  • Enhance BI tools, specifically Power BI, by building efficient data models that improve performance.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the establishment of team best practices, including documenting data models and processes and enforcing data governance and security.
  • Monitor pipeline performance and resolve data inconsistencies and bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with the team to optimize database performance and storage solutions.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience.
