Job Description
Job Title: Deli Associate Part Time
Company: Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace
Location: Troy, MI
Pay: $14 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $14 for a “Deli Associate Part Time” in Troy, MI, is fairly competitive, though it may vary based on factors like experience, employer, and specific job responsibilities. As of late 2023, the average wage for similar positions in the food service industry typically ranges from $12 to $16 per hour, with some establishments offering higher rates for more experienced workers or in higher-cost living areas. Given that Michigan’s minimum wage is around $10.10, this rate exceeds that threshold, making it attractive to job seekers. However, it may still fall short when compared to larger or more established grocery chains, which might offer starting wages closer to $15 or above to attract talent in a competitive labor market. Overall, while $14 per hour is decent, it may not fully reflect the increasing wage demands and cost of living adjustments in the region.
