SUMMARY
The individual in this role is responsible for fulfilling customer needs by delivering auto parts and tires in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position encompasses the following responsibilities; additional duties may be assigned as necessary: Deliver exceptional customer service daily, exceeding customer expectations while adhering to company policies and procedural guidelines. Accurately pull tires in accordance with customer orders and load them into delivery vehicles. Ensure delivery accuracy and route efficiency, completing and returning forms as well as handling invoices, transfers, and related paperwork correctly.
In the absence of pending deliveries, the employee will unload deliveries, pull orders, and perform various warehouse duties. Adhere strictly to safety regulations at all times and communicate important information to the manager promptly. Respond to all customer inquiries courteously or refer them to the manager if further information is required. Deliver orders proficiently and maintain a professional demeanor during interactions. Execute only assigned deliveries and reach out to the manager from customer locations as necessary.
After completing deliveries, leave customer locations promptly, observing vehicle safety protocols consistently. Legibly initial all cash invoices and adhere to correct cash handling procedures. Accurately verify and complete invoices and record essential information on all documents. Ensure that transfers are completed correctly and perform weekly vehicle checks, as well as routine maintenance checks when necessary. Notify the manager regarding any non-routine repairs or maintenance required for company vehicles, and conduct daily vehicle clean-up.
Pull the correct tires to fulfill orders and properly stock tires. Assist with loading and unloading vehicles as needed. Undertake facility maintenance duties, including housekeeping and other maintenance responsibilities. Exhibit professionalism, courtesy, and proactivity in interactions with customers, vendors, and colleagues at all times. Follow oral and written instructions accurately and work collaboratively as part of a team, even under time constraints. Deliver quality work with meticulous attention to detail. Comply with company policies and procedures, including attendance and punctuality requirements. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
A minimum of two years of driving experience and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Ability to read and recognize a limited number of two- and three-syllable words, as well as identify similarities and differences between words and sequences of numbers. Capability to print and articulate simple sentences.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
