SUMMARY
The individual in this role is responsible for fulfilling customer needs by efficiently and professionally delivering auto parts and tires in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing exceptional customer service that surpasses standard expectations while adhering to company policies and procedures. Duties include accurately pulling tires based on customer orders, loading orders into delivery vehicles, checking deliveries for accuracy, and efficiently routing them. The role involves completing and returning forms, handling invoices, transfers, and all necessary paperwork with precision. The individual will also unload deliveries, pull orders, and perform various warehouse duties when there are no pending deliveries.
Safety regulations must be observed and followed diligently at all times. The individual will relay pertinent information to the manager promptly and respond to customer inquiries courteously, referring them to the manager when necessary. Deliveries must be made promptly and in a professional manner, ensuring that only assigned deliveries are carried out. Communication with the manager from customer locations may be required as needed.
Timely departure from customer locations post-delivery is essential, as is adherence to vehicle safety procedures. The employee is responsible for legibly initialing all cash invoices, following proper cash handling protocols, and correctly completing return forms in a timely manner. Verification and accurate completion of invoices, as well as meticulous recording of all relevant information, are required. Weekly vehicle checks and routine maintenance checks must be performed, with any non-routine repair needs reported to the manager. Daily vehicle cleanup is also expected.
The individual will accurately pull tires to fulfill orders, stock them appropriately, and assist in loading and unloading vehicles. Facility maintenance responsibilities, including housekeeping, are also part of this role. Professionalism, courtesy, and proactivity in interactions with customers, vendors, and colleagues are critical. The individual must follow both oral and written instructions with accuracy, work collaboratively under time constraints, and deliver high-quality work with attention to detail. Compliance with company policies and procedures, including attendance and punctuality, is essential. The individual should proactively seek and prepare for training opportunities both internally within the company and externally.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
