As the Public Sector Demand Generation Marketing Lead, you will play a pivotal role in fostering seamless collaboration with the North American Federal, State, and Local Public Sector Sales teams. You will spearhead the strategy and execution of integrated demand generation efforts, including field events, digital initiatives, and Sales Plays, aimed at enhancing awareness, engagement, and revenue growth for the Hyperscience Public Sector team. Your responsibilities will include coordinating multi-channel programs that target government customer segments at various stages of the buyer journey. This role is designed for a seasoned marketing professional who excels at data-driven strategy, creativity, cross-functional collaboration, and achieving measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Strategy & Planning:

    • Develop and execute the annual integrated campaign and sales play strategy aligned with public sector revenue goals (federal, state, and local government).
    • Define campaign objectives, KPIs, and key messaging to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion across multiple buyer personas, use cases, and industry verticals.
    • Prioritize and allocate resources effectively across campaigns for maximum impact, balancing quick wins with long-term brand-building initiatives.
    • Collaborate with Sales, product marketing, content, and digital teams to ensure all campaigns are customer-centric, value-driven, and tailored to the buyer journey.
  • Multi-Channel Campaign Execution:

    • Design and manage integrated campaigns across various channels, including email marketing, digital advertising, social media, content syndication, SDR outbound, ABM, webinars, and local field events (primarily in D.C.).
    • Oversee the development of campaign assets, such as landing pages, email sequences, digital ads, and content, in partnership with creative and content teams.
    • Ensure coordinated omnichannel execution that maintains consistent messaging and user experience aligned with campaign themes and company branding.
    • Implement Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies with the sales team to customize outreach and prioritize high-value accounts.
    • Establish and manage the framework for defining and executing Sales Plays in collaboration with Sales, Customer Success Management (CSM), and Sales Development Representative (SDR) leadership.
  • Performance Analysis & Optimization:

    • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics (CTR, MQLs, SQLs, conversions, pipeline influence) to assess ROI and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
    • Continuously optimize campaigns through A/B testing, multivariate testing, and audience segmentation to enhance targeting, engagement, and conversion rates.
    • Provide weekly and monthly performance reporting to the VP of Growth, including insights and recommendations for improvement and future planning.
    • Utilize customer insights and market trends to refine and adjust campaign strategies for greater impact, focusing on key accounts and target industries.
  • Leadership:

    • Manage the relationship between the Public Sector sales teams and marketing while fostering a strategic approach that effectively captures global demand for our products and services.
    • Utilize data from analytics teams to evaluate campaign performance, guiding the channel mix, content strategy, and timing of future integrated campaigns.
    • Communicate performance metrics and business opportunities across stakeholders organization-wide to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Budget Management & Forecasting:
    • Develop and effectively manage campaign budgets, allocating resources based on anticipated ROI and strategic priorities.
    • Monitor and track campaign expenses, ensuring compliance with the overall marketing budget and company financial objectives.
    • Identify cost-effective campaign tactics and tools that deliver significant impact without overspending.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Science, Operations, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of proven experience in demand generation marketing with responsibility for driving over $50 million in pipeline annually.
  • 2-3 years of experience in the public sector or global demand generation initiatives is highly desirable.
  • Intermediate proficiency with HubSpot and Salesforce is essential.
  • A demonstrated track record of executing successful go-to-market strategies and managing integrated campaigns that yield incremental revenue.
  • Exceptional analytical aptitude with the capacity to interpret data and make informed, data-driven decisions.

The target base compensation range for this role is $130,000 to $195,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, geographical location, and our business needs.
