Job description:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in configuring cloud environments, provisioning networking, storage, and virtual networks, ultimately enabling clients to effectively harness cloud technologies. We are seeking a skilled DevOps infrastructure engineer to assist our clients in modernizing their IT infrastructures while addressing their most intricate challenges.
In this role at Booz Allen, you will collaborate closely with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configurations tailored for contemporary cloud solutions. You will refine your capabilities within a DevOps framework, establishing and provisioning virtual machines and networks, while utilizing cloud service providers to empower our clients’ meaningful missions. With access to our state-of-the-art internal innovation labs, you will be in an ideal environment to enhance your skillset and explore diverse solutions to our clients’ needs. Your responsibilities may include the development, deployment, or management of IT infrastructures pertaining to essential server and network components, supported by the latest technologies and a team of exceptional colleagues.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Configuration as Code.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code tools.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with Kubernetes.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with AWS.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Linux system administration.
- Active Secret clearance.
- High School diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, JSM, Discourse, Overleaf, GitLab, GitLab Runners, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, Ansys products, Teamwork Cloud, MATLAB, Fortify, McAfee ePO, Splunk, or Nessus.
- Experience with GitOps and Agile methodologies.
- Proven track record in creating CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or Jenkins.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with F5 BIG IP.
- Familiarity with cloud solutions in DoD environments.
- Experience with Windows Server.
- Knowledge of version control systems, including Git.
- Experience with Terraform and Ansible.
- Bachelor’s degree.
Clearance Requirements:

The projected salary range for this position is between $75,600.00 and $172,000.00 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard salary for this role and is only one aspect of Booz Allen’s total compensation framework.
