Job description:
Performs all duties essential to delivering outstanding customer-focused service within the retail food service areas. Assists in the preparation, portioning, serving, and monitoring of food and beverages while upholding standards of food safety and sanitation. Identifies and reports variances to leadership. Provides exemplary patient and family-centered care and services in alignment with Corewell Health Standards.
Essential Functions:
– Prepares, sets up, stocks, and organizes assigned stations for service.
– Serves food and beverages in accordance with established standards, employing safe food handling practices.
– Replenishes stock and ensures the safety and sanitation of assigned areas.
– Monitors food and beverage temperatures, self-service areas, and product volumes as directed.
– Busses dirty dishes and maintains the condiment stand and dining areas as assigned.
– Delivers exceptional customer service, remaining attentive to the special needs of customers and interacting in a respectful manner.
– Identifies and communicates opportunities for waste reduction, service enhancements, and revenue generation to leadership according to established guidelines.

Required:
