Job Summary
Based in Detroit, MI; Saginaw, MI; Lansing, MI; Ann Arbor, MI; Grand Rapids, MI; and Kalamazoo, MI, we are currently seeking a full-time Clinical Dietitian to become a valued member of our Nutrition Team at MyMichigan Medical Center Saginaw. This position offers a flexible schedule and includes a sign-on bonus of $5,000. We support our Registered Dietitians by covering professional dues, including CDR fees and annual memberships for organizations such as the Academy or ASPEN, along with state license fees. Additionally, TouchPoint encourages our clinical dietitians to pursue advanced clinical certifications such as CDCES, CNSC, CSO, etc., offering a one-time salary increase of $2,500 upon successful certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct nutrition assessments, develop modified diet formulations, provide self-management training, and implement nutrition interventions.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards set forth by federal, state, and accrediting agencies.
  • Maintain confidentiality in line with HIPAA regulations and uphold patient rights policies where applicable.
  • Participate actively in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement Programs at both facility-wide and departmental levels.
  • Establish weekly treatment goals and effectively communicate individual client needs to the treatment team.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree and Registered Dietitian certification in accordance with the Commission on Dietetic Registration are required.
  • Advanced Practitioner Certification and other advanced practice credentials are preferred.
  • A minimum of two to three years of professional experience as a Registered Dietitian is necessary.
  • Licensure by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in applicable states is required.
  • Proficiency in computer programs, including Microsoft Office Suite, is essential.
