At a Glance:
– This is a sales leadership position requiring approximately 70% of your time spent in the field and 30% in the office. You will lead and coach a team of Outside Sales Representatives focused on selling ADT’s primary residential offerings: Home Security and Home Automation.

Job Summary:
The Sales Manager will oversee the daily operations of a local Outside Sales team.

Responsibilities in the Office:
– Conduct interviews and hire Outside Sales Representatives
– Assign and manage leads effectively
– Monitor and audit sales activities
– Provide training and one-on-one coaching, along with facilitating team huddles
– Support your team in managing attrition, which is crucial for overall success
– Daily office hours: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Responsibilities in the Field:
– Meet or exceed personal sales targets
– Maintain motivation and engagement among the team through phone and group chat communications
– Participate in ride-alongs with new hires and underperforming sales representatives
– Execute additional duties as assigned by Regional Sales Management
– Daily field hours: 2:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Qualifications:
– A minimum of 3 years of experience in Outside Sales; supervisory experience is preferred
– Proficiency in using technical devices such as laptops and tablets, and other related tools
– Strong leadership and motivational abilities
– Capability to travel within assigned territories and company locations using a reliable personal vehicle

Working Conditions:
– Daily office work is required (30%)
– Daily fieldwork is necessary in various weather conditions (70%)
– Occasional travel may be required
