Job Title: Direct Service Professional – 14 hours, flexible schedule

Company: Help at Home

Location: Shelby Township, MI

Pay: $16 – 17 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $16 to $17 for a “Direct Service Professional” role in Shelby Township, MI, falls within a moderately competitive range. According to data on wages in the direct support profession, the national average typically hovers around $15 to $20 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and the specifics of the role. In Michigan, rates may vary slightly, but this compensation is generally aligned with state averages, particularly for entry-level or less specialized positions. Considering the flexibility of a 14-hour work schedule, this pay rate can attract candidates seeking part-time, adaptable roles, though it may be less appealing in areas with higher living costs or for more experienced professionals. Overall, while competitive, it could benefit from upward adjustment to fully engage potential applicants in a tight labor market.
