Job Title: Direct Service Professional – Autism Care, Fri/Sat

Company: Help at Home

Location: Sterling Heights, MI

Pay: $16 – 17 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $16 – $17 for a “Direct Service Professional – Autism Care” position in Sterling Heights, MI appears to be on the lower end of the competitive range, especially considering the typical salary for similar roles in the region. According to various salary data sources, Direct Service Professionals in Michigan generally earn between $15 to $20 per hour, with some experienced professionals in specialized roles earning more. Given the demands of working with individuals with autism, including necessary training, certifications, and possibly experience, this pay range may not adequately attract qualified candidates, particularly as wages for many entry-level positions have risen in response to cost of living increases. Therefore, while it is somewhat within the average range, it could be improved to better align with industry standards and attract a skilled workforce.
