Job Description
Job Title: Direct Service Professional – Autism Care, Fri/Sat
Company: Help at Home
Location: Sterling Heights, MI
Pay: $16 – 17 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $16 – $17 for a “Direct Service Professional – Autism Care” position in Sterling Heights, MI, is generally considered on the lower end of the scale for this role. According to industry standards, especially given Michigan’s cost of living and pay rates for healthcare and social services, Direct Service Professionals typically earn between $18 and $23 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and specific job requirements. While entry-level positions may start closer to $16, the rate offered may not attract individuals with more experience or specialized training. Consequently, to remain competitive, especially in a field requiring significant emotional and practical caregiving skills, this organization may need to consider raising their pay rate or offering additional benefits.
