Job Description
Job Title: Direct Service Professional – Hartland, 7p-12a
Company: Help at Home
Location: Hartland, MI
Pay: $16 – 17 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $16 – $17 for a “Direct Service Professional” role in Hartland, MI, particularly during evening hours (7p-12a), is somewhat below the national average for similar positions. As of 2023, Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) typically earn between $18 and $22 per hour, depending on factors such as experience, certifications, and the specific needs of the populations they serve. In Michigan, wages can vary significantly by region, and while this pay rate aligns with entry-level positions, it may not be considered fully competitive for those with more experience or specialized training. Overall, while this rate may attract individuals seeking entry-level roles, it may struggle to retain talent in light of higher-paying opportunities in the field.
