Job Title: Direct Support Professional

Company: Beacon Specialized Living Services, Inc.

Location: Otsego, MI

Pay: $15.1 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15.10 for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Otsego, MI, falls slightly below the industry standards for this role, which typically range from $15 to $20 per hour, depending on experience and the specific duties involved. While the wage may be competitive in areas with a lower cost of living, it is on the lower end of the scale compared to national averages, especially considering that many DSPs are required to have certain certifications or training. Given the essential nature of this role in providing care and support to individuals with disabilities, a rate of $15.10 may not fully reflect the responsibilities or the living wage needed in some regions. Thus, it could be seen as less attractive to prospective candidates in a competitive job market.
