Job Description
Job Title: Direct Support Professional
Company: Beacon Specialized Living Services, Inc.
Location: Michigan
Pay: $14.5 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: As of October 2023, an hourly rate of $14.50 for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Michigan is generally considered below the average for this role. In Michigan, the typical pay for DSPs ranges from approximately $15 to $20 per hour, depending on factors such as experience, specific job responsibilities, and geographic location. While some organizations may offer lower starting wages, the demand for qualified DSPs and the increasing cost of living suggest that $14.50 may not be competitive, which could make attracting and retaining workers a challenge in a field that is vital for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and other needs.
