Job Description
Job Title: Direct Support Professional
Company: Beacon Specialized Living Services, Inc.
Location: Fife Lake, MI
Pay: $17 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: As of October 2023, an hourly rate of $17 for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Fife Lake, MI appears to be on the lower end of the pay scale. According to various industry sources, the typical pay for DSPs can range from $15 to $22 per hour, depending on factors such as experience, specific job responsibilities, and regional demand. While $17/hr aligns closely with the lower to mid-range for certain areas, it may not be competitive considering the rising costs of living and the need for skilled workers in health and social services. Therefore, to attract and retain talent in this role, employers may need to consider offering higher compensation or additional benefits.
