Job Description
Job Title: Direct Support Professional
Company: Beacon Specialized Living Services, Inc.
Location: Hartford, MI
Pay: $14.5 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: As of October 2023, an hourly rate of $14.50 for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Hartford, MI, is generally considered on the lower end of the pay scale for this position, which typically ranges from $15 to $20 per hour depending on factors such as experience, specific duties, and the organization. Although cost of living and local demand for DSPs can affect competitiveness, this rate may not fully align with industry standards, particularly in a state where many employers are raising wages to attract and retain qualified staff. Therefore, while $14.50 is somewhat typical for entry-level positions or small organizations, it may not be competitive enough to attract experienced professionals in a challenging job market.
